Ergonomic design
When it comes to comfort, we think of everything. uvex pheos safety helmets feature a six-point suspension harness made from soft polyester that is ultrasonically welded to eliminate uncomfortable seams and weakness. A padded sweatband made of coated synthetic leather covers the entire 360º helmet rim for enhanced comfort, and can also be easily replaced to maintain hygiene.
Perfect resting position
The joint system is designed to improve the helmet's ergonomics and evenly distributes the weight of all attachments across the body's centre of gravity. The visor can be locked above the helmet shell when not required, while the hearing protection can be folded back. Everything fits closely to the helmet and is perfectly balanced, ensuring maximum comfort and freedom of movement with no unnecessary weight to strain the muscles on the neck.

The adjustable uvex climazone ventilation system has been designed to move the way you do with front and back vents that allows air in to cool the head and warm air to escape at the rear. The vents can easily be opened to increase airflow through the helmet and closed to help combat the elements.

Quality made in uvex
Industrial safety helmets from uvex comply with standard DIN EN 397, which states that they must be designed to protect the wearer from falling objects. During development, we continuously check our products in our in-house test laboratories. This means that our products fulfil the standards in all respects – and even exceed specifications.

The injection-moulded transparent peak prevents particles penetrating the inside of the visor.

By manufacturing over 80% of our head-to-toe PPE products in our own European factories, we are able to retain total control of design, quality, and sustainable performance.
The lightweight uvex pheos planet safety helmet is part of the uvex “protecting planet” range of sustainable products. The shell is made of up to 30% bioplastic (the raw material being sugar cane) and the material for the headband is made from 50% granulated helmet shells which helps reduce process-related waste. The packaging is made of regranulated material and has been taken from the recycling economy while the user instructions are printed on 100% recycled paper.
