Fit
Proper fit
One size does not fit all. An ill-fitting glove can be as much a hazard as not wearing any at all. It may seem obvious, but…properly-fitted PPE that has been selected for the individual and their workplace hazards can help avoid accidents, reduce discomfort, increase productivity and give wearers confidence.
Comfort
All day comfort
With proper fit comes comfort. Comfort is important for those wearing gloves for any period. Gloves that retain heat and sweat can cause skin problems while rough seams and poor fit can cause discomfort, sores and circulation issues. Ideally, gloves should contour to the shape and form of the individual’s hand.
Performance
Product performance
Quality and technology makes all the difference. We understand that for safe and efficient work the design, types and quality of materials used within a glove's construction all have a bearing on the protective properties, grip quality, dexterity, comfort and fit which help to minimise hand strain and fatigue that can lead to accidents.
Style
Modern style
We all want to look and feel good. Hand protection that is high performing, comfortable and look good makes wearing PPE effortless. As a result, the gloves are more likely to remain worn throughout the day and employees will remain compliant.
Safety gloves that fit like a second skin
While it is important to choose the correct safety gloves for the job and environment, it is equally important to ensure your safety gloves fit properly. A correct fit means the gloves will be comfortable to wear and you are more likely to keep them on. If gloves are too big they can affect grip or get caught in moving parts or tools; too small and they will distract from the task at hand.
